TrustVac Stocker
Calves gathered from various sources generally at weaning time. Calves are vaccinated at or near the time delivered to stocker. Calves are often gathered at various times booster vaccines need to be given at appropriate times and no more than 8 weeks apart.
The last shot needs to be a least 21 days prior to shipment/feedlot delivery. All calves are kept for at least 60 days.
Core Vaccines:
- Clostridial 7, 8, or 9-way vaccine. 2 doses (arrival and booster)
Viral 5-Way (IBR, PI3, BRSV, BVD types I,II) Modified live or attenuated MLV for IBR and PI3. The BVD and BRSV can be modified live or killed. 2 doses (arrival and booster)
Part of this protocol may be given as an intranasal vaccines - Mannheimia haemolytica and/or Pasturella multocida 1 dose (usually at arrival)
Non-core Vaccines:
- Haemophilus somus
- Pink -eye (Moraxella Bovis)
Parasite Control
- Internal & External Parasite Control
Improving Weight Gain/Control digestive problems
• Growth implants (optional)
• Feed ionophores (optional)
• Mineral supplements
• Feed rations (Nutritionist or veterinarian involvement)
