Calves are raised on the ranch and vaccinated twice, at branding and 2-4 weeks prior to shipping.
Core Vaccines:
- Clostridial 7, 8, or 9-way vaccine. 1 dose at branding and 1 dose 2 -4 weeks prior to shipping.
- Viral 5-Way (IBR, PI3, BRSV, BVD types I,II) Modified live or attenuated MLV for IBR and PI3. The BVD and BRSV can be modified live or killed. 2 doses one at branding 3 weeks apart
- Mannheimia haemolytica and/or Pasturella multocida 1 dose near weaning at least two weeks prior to shipping
Non-core Vaccines (not required):
- Haemophilus somus
- Pink -eye (Moraxella Bovis)
Parasite Control (recommended)
- Internal & External Parasite Control
Improving Weight Gain/Control digestive problems (optional)
- Feed ionophores
- Mineral supplements
- Feed rations
